Automated Policy Based Encryption
Voltage SecureFile for IBM Lotus Quickr allows a Quickr
Place Administrator to set policies by which files will be
automatically encrypted. Such policies assure Quickr
administrators and information security teams that specific
files are handled and secured appropriately. Automated
encryption policies are triggered by identification settings
such as file type, title and owner. Policies secure the files to
those individuals or groups in the access control list of the
published location. In addition, the Quickr administrator can
set policy to encrypt to additional users, which can be helpful
for audit purposes and e-discovery.
